The start of the application of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) has now officially been postponed by one year to 26.05.2021. The European Parliament already adopted the Commission’s proposal on 17.04.2020. Now, as the last resort, the Member States have also approved it and the European Union has published the amendments in the Official Journal. The entry in the Official Journal can be read here.
