Since the introduction of the FDA’s UDI requirements in 2016 with the Global Unique Device Identification Database (GUDID), we have chosen the solution to manage our UDI data independently through an SAP add-on, maintain it in SAP, and transfer it to the database. Mr. Demiralp and his team successfully implemented this solution, and we were more than satisfied back then and still are.
For us, it was also important to continue this path of independent data management and transfer from SAP within the framework of the UDI requirements of the European Database on Medical Devices (EUDAMED). Therefore, we have once again chosen the EUDAMED SAP add-on from Europe IT Consulting.
